Romans 6:6-7, “Our old life died with Christ on the cross so that our sinful selves would have no power over us and we would not be slaves to sin.”

FREEDOM!

Yesterday our poor little 6 month old black lab was spayed.....that crazy head cuff seems to us to be a torture instrument. I suppose we all will endure the 10 or more days that she has to have it on but OMGoodness do we feel sorry for her!

Tim is attending a mini show Saturday in Newark but this year I will stay home and take care of our little girl, Chauncy!

Be blessed and enjoy this wonderful, beautiful Indian Summer weather here in Ohio :)

Happy Birthday Dukey!

You possess (get this!) every spiritual blessing possible. Ephesians 1:3 promises that “in Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.” This is the gift offered to the lowliest sinner on earth. Who could make such an offer but God? John 1:16 says, “From him we all received one gift after another.”

Romans 11:33 asks, have you ever come upon anything quite like this extravagant love of God, this deep, deep, wisdom? It’s way over our heads. We’ll never figure it out. Is there anyone around who can explain God? Anyone smart enough to tell him what to do? Anyone who’s done him such a huge favor that God has to ask his advice?

Everything comes from him. Everything comes through him. Everything ends up in him. Always glory! Always praise! Yes, yes, and yes!

Psalm 103:12 says, He has “taken our sins away from us as far as the east is from the west.”

Hard to believe isn't it? But our doubts in ourself have nothing to do with God's plan for us in Him.

Yesterday was Grandparents' Day at STS Peter and Paul. It was a breakfast at 7:30 am so we were on the road by 6 (it is a long drive). I am so thankful that Pooh and I get to spend time with the grandchildren! It is always  filled with food and songs and laughter.

I love my family!

This morning we went up to the cemetery  to freshen up Jamey's gravesite with fresh flowers and gourds....tomorrow is his birthday! I want everyone to know that he is not forgotten but I am so thankful that there is not where he resides. The Apostle Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with God....and Jesus told the sinner who accepted Him as he was dying on the cross of God's salvation that that very day he would be present with Him in heaven.

What a loving God we serve.

Be blessed.

Faith in His grace and power to save even the likes of me :)

Romans 3:24-25 says, “All need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ. God gave him as a way to forgive sin through faith in the blood of Jesus.”

Oh what a glorious God we serve :)

Have a blessed day!

Hebrews 10:14 explains, “With one sacrifice he made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”

God does what we cannot do, so we can be what we dare not dream…perfect before him. He canceled our debt. He took away that record with its rules and nailed it to the cross.

It was and is an unspeakable gift of grace!

Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he’s a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”

Tim loves Mondays'....he gets to bowl in the Senior League (me too) and in the evening he gets to watch WWE wrestling. I do believe that he knows it is just a show but you wouldn't know it from the conversation he carries on with himself? or maybe it is for my benefit to which I give that cursory nod of understanding :)

Yesterday in between bowling and wrestling we went up the hill to my parents house and played a game of cards. My Daddy feels about playing cards the same way that Tim feels about wrestling! Neither are my favorite things to do BUT it makes my Dad so happy that I try to work in a game every once in a while just because I love him...the same thing I do with Timmy and wrestling just because I love him!

I am going to enjoy a day of peaceful quiet!

Be blessed :)
