In your wildest dreams did you ever realize how much God cares for you?

“Humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, in order that He may lift us up when the time is right. Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

~Max Lucado

How often do you see people more concerned about getting a job done right than they are about saving their necks? Too seldom, right?  But when we do—when we see a gutsy human taking a few risks—ah, now that’s a person worthy of a pat on the back. So…

Here’s to the woman whose husband left her with a nest of kids to raise and bills to pay, but who somehow tells me every Sunday that God has never been closer.
Here’s to the single father of two girls who learned to braid their hair.
Here’s to the girl who was told to abort the baby but chose to keep the baby.
Here’s to the doctor who treats more than half of his patients for free.
Here’s to all of you reckless lovers of life and God.

So what if you forgot about pleasing the crowd. Most of us aren’t even in your league.

Hebrews 10:14 says, “He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”

Precept by precept we are being changed into the image of His Son so that when He sees us He sees Jesus!

Thank you Father for Your mercy and Your grace!

Go out and shout it to the world that Jesus Christ is Lord :)

Just believe!

Be grateful for the life that you have been given making the most of all the talents God has provided you.

Feel His presence in your life.....that still, small voice that speaks volumes of His love for you and all of mankind.

Breathe deep and relax in His love!

It is my middle daughters' 12th Anniversary she and her hubby are going kayaking and spending the night in a log cabin so I am going to Wellston to spend the night on Friday night and then bring them back here to stay Saturday. The Columbus group is joining us so six of the grand babies are spending the night here Saturday....pray for Pooh Bear!

It will be wonderfully chaotic!

Be blessed in His grace!!

Emeli Sandé - Next To Me

“Humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, in order that He may lift us up when the time is right.

Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

Sweet Jesus help us as we travel the higher path not knowing exactly how or where it will end!

Our Senior Bowling League resumes today...me bowling is a sight to behold but Timmy loves it so away I go. We show God's love in how we love others even it means bowling and watching wrestling 2 evenings a week showing interest :)

Be blessed and love others...love is the only thing that remains long after we are gone from this earth!

Food for though!

Perhaps the most amazing response to God’s gift is our reluctance to accept it. We feel better if we earn it. So we create religious hoops and hop through them—making God a trainer, us his pets, and religion a circus.

If only, when God smiles and says we are saved, we’d salute him, thank him, and live like those who’ve just received a gift from the commander in chief. We seldom do that, though. To accept grace is to admit failure. We opt to impress God with how good we are rather than confessing how great he is. We dizzy ourselves with doctrine.  Burden ourselves with rules. We think that God will smile on our efforts. But He doesn’t. God’s smile is not for the healthy hiker who boasts that he made the journey alone. It is, instead, for the crippled leper who begs God for a back on which to ride!

Amazing Grace!

Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.”

When you recognize God as Creator, you will admire Him.

When you recognize His wisdom, you will learn from Him. When you discover His strength, you will rely on Him. But only when He saves you will you worship Him. ~Max Lucado

It has been a hectic week starting last Thursday when we left for Lexington KY for the Contemporary Long Rifle Association Convention. It was a good show and we shared stories with those people that we only see once a year trying to cram a years worth of living into 3 days...wow! About 20 of us went to the Town Idiot to eat on Friday night the food was fantastic and they were a fun group but only 2 of us were women! That about says it all :)

We came back late Saturday night and in expectation of the dinner we were having the next afternoon I made a Birthday cake for my firstborn Marla and dump salad. As usual we made way too much food but it was good to see everyone in one place (all the kids, grand babies and Mom & Dad) since Timmy's radiation seed are now or should be defunct. The Fulton kids and Caitie spent the night and it was utter chaos of the good kind! Cait spent an additional night on Monday so that she could reconnect with her Pooh after his ordered MIA status.

I am thankful for God's salvation foremost and then for the loving family that He has provided for me....it is totally undeserved :0) Those who have been forgiven much....love Him much!

Have a blessed day in gratitude of His love!

Keep your eye on the prize!

Paul said in II Corinthians 4:16-18, “We do not lose heart. . .for our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.”

I Thessalonians 5:9 says “God has destined us to the full attainment of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

God wants us to succeed! When we turn our life over to Him He will do whatever it takes to get us sanctified. If we abide in Him and listen to voice of the Holy Spirit we will be changed!

Be blessed knowing how great God's love is for you!

the babies are coming...the babies are coming

Timmy's 4 months of radiation and not being able to be with the babies finally has ended..hurray!!

Sunday we will have a family dinner with the whole gang plus Mom and Daddy!

Caitlyn and Kamden are going to spend the night on Sunday and then Caitie will stay another night alone on Monday. Kami starts back to school on Tuesday....where the heck did summer go?

I have spent a lot of overnights with the babies at their house this last 4 months but it has been too long for an overnight at Nana and Poohs'.

Revelation 3:20, “Here I am. I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”

“Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).  “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).

Let Him into your life and it will be an abundant life filled with the peace that only He can give!

Have a wonderful blessed day :)

Matthew 14:19. “Taking the five loaves and two fish, Jesus gave thanks.”

If God was thankful for the normal everyday things of life....like food....shouldn't we be also?

Each day is a gift and a way to show others how thankful we are for the little things as well as the big!

Be blessed and enjoy this thing called life that we have been given!

Matthew 14:14 says. “He had compassion on them.”

When Matthew writes that Jesus had compassion on people, he’s not saying that Jesus felt casual pity for them. Matthew is saying that Jesus felt their hurt in His gut. He felt the limp of the disabled. He felt the hurt of the diseased. He felt the loneliness of the leper. He felt the embarrassment of the sinful. And once He felt their hurts, He couldn’t help but heal their hurts. He was so touched by their needs that He forgot His own needs. He was so moved by the people’s hurts that He put His hurts on the back burner.

God sees with the eyes of a Father. He sees our defects, errors, and blemishes; but He also sees our value. Maybe that’s why God brings hurting people into your world, too!

Hebrews 4:15, “. . .he Himself has shared fully in all our experience of temptation, except that He never sinned.”

Pray always in all situations. Prayer changes things!

Saturday night I am spending in Wellston with the babies.....
It won't be much longer until they can stay here. Timmy's radiation seeds are suppose to be inactive around the 7th.  Yippeee!
