Proverbs 22:6 says, “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”
Yesterday 10 of us Huber's went out to eat and if there was any doubt where our loud and boisterous spirit comes from it is resolved:)
It was a good day of reminiscing the days of our childhood. I had not seen 2 of my cousins, Shirlee and Gary for over 20 years, we have had a lot to catch up on. Shirlee lives in Scottsdale AZ but has a summer home near Portland within 10 minutes of her brother Gary...they are the only 2 left of their family. Gary and his wife have no children but Shirlee and her hubby have a boy and a girl. She had just returned from spending 3 weeks in France and had some remarkable pics to share. Judy another cousin lives in the Washington DC area where she retired from the FBI and her husband was the Chief of Police....it is nice to see everyone!
My Daddy's siblings have all lived long and productive lives we get our spirituality and our propensity for working hard from them!
Enjoy the blessings of your family they are God's gift to us!

Busy week :)
I have cousins in from 2 different states this week who are planning a memorial service for their Mother Mary, my Father's sister, who passed away in another state this past winter. We will have a gathering at my Aunt's ( her older sister) house after the service on Thursday.
My father's family have lived long and productive lives....they will rejoice in seeing the better side of life :)
This afternoon I am taking the new puppy to the vets' for another round of puppy shots....OMGoodness.
We have been taking care of my daughter's dog this week and she hates the puppy...it has been a trick to feed and care for 3 doggies and keep them separated!! Winnie is with me up in the studio loft sleeping on my afghan....she was dropped on my doorstep as a wee little puppy and then when I moved to VA she was inherited by Ashley....so she is really good and easy to care for when Chauncy will leave her alone!
Have a blessed day my friends :)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to save us!
We think His love rises and falls with our performance. It doesn’t.
He loves you for whose you are; and you are His child! ~Max Lucado
We played cards with Mom & Dad yesterday afternoon....they are a hoot!
Enjoy your family and be blessed :)

God loves all of mankind and wants all of us to be saved through Jesus!
It has been a crazy good week already starting with Father's Day dinner here for my Daddy (87) and DH. We played 2 games of Hand & Foot thankfully the women won 1 and we let the men win 1 ....sure we did!
Monday and Tuesday I went to my daughters to spend a couple of days. I wanted to see my 6 year old grandson play in his baseball play offs and they won....too cute! Tuesday I took 2 of my granddaughters ages 8 and 9 to a sewing class at Jo Ann's Fabrics it was soooo fun and later my 2 daughters and my 3 granddaughters met up for lunch at Max and Erma's.
I love my family!

No price is too high for a parent to pay to redeem his child. No energy is too great. No effort is too demanding.
A parent will go to any length to find his or her own. So will God! ~Max Lucado
What an exciting time we had this weekend! Kristyl and Kaeden came to spend the night on Saturday and early Sunday morning we headed over to the Valley Ziplines to meet Ashley and her family to go zipping. It was fun and a little terrifying on the last leg to have to repel down 50' to exit the lines!

The Seasoned Farmhouse
I am spending tonight with the Moloney group! It is the kids last day of school and they will be wired for fun I am sure. For Mother's Day they gave me a cooking class that is geared toward Normandy at a quaint little cooking school in Columbus. The class is from 6:30 to 8:30 so I am meeting them at 1:30 to have plenty of kid time with the babies :) and I will be there in the morning to greet them.
Life is good.
Be blessed!

Mark 5:23
In Mark 5:23 we meet Jairus—a leader of the synagogue—one of the most important men in the community. But the man in this story is a humble man, saying again and again, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” He doesn’t barter with Jesus. He doesn’t negotiate. He doesn’t make excuses. He just pleads!
There are times when everything you have to offer is nothing compared to what you’re asking to receive. What could a man offer in exchange for his child’s life? So there are no games, no haggling. Jairus asks for help. Jesus, who loves the honest heart, goes to give it. And God, who knows what it’s like to lose a child, empowers His Son! ~Max Lucado
God feels our pain!
Yesterday I had lunch with my little sister and her family it is hard to see the aftermath of losing a child to cancer evident even now in her other children 9 years later. My heart bleeds for her and I truly feel her pain so does our heavenly Father. He also lost a child just like us.
Be blessed and be a blessing!
