Be grateful daily for all the blessings that God has given!

This afternoon I am going to my daughter's to spend the night. She and hubby have a retirement party to attend for two of her teachers. It is 180 miles round trip but a beautiful scenic drive! I listen to talk radio on the drive (something that I never do with Timmy) to pass the time.

It is going to be a perfect spring weekend here in the Ohio Valley...I am so very thankful!

Be blessed!

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love NKJ

Today we take both the doggies to the vet....one for itchy skin and the other for her puppy shots! This should be fun :)

Have a wonderfully blessed day!

Philippians 4:6 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”

I pray for my children, my grandchildren, my brothers and sisters and their families, for my husband and for me nightly. I pray that the Father guides us and protects us from the evil in this world and that we can be changed into His likeness as He originally planned   using all the gifts and talents that He has given us to His advantage through love.

Love alone will conquer evil....Love God above and beyond anyone or anything and love others showing it with your actions not just with words.

Be blessed!

Psalm 34:8 says, “Taste and see that the LORD is good.”

The play last night was so adorable! Kamden was the Spider and her partner was Little Miss Muffet! The whole Mother Goose entourage was represented in the play titled "lemonade"

I wold drive the 2.5 hours to see the grandbabies plays regardless but Dorothy STS Peter &  Paul's  music teacher makes the whole thing downright fun! Kudos to her and the school?

Be blessed :)

Exodus 33:14 God said to Moses, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest!”

REST! What an awesome state of being.

Last night the new puppy slept soundly...awww what a good nights rest can do.

Monday I was in Wellston to see my Grandson Kaeden's school play "At the Bandstand" it was really good!

This evening I am going once again to the little city of Wellston this time to watch my Granddaughter Kamden's school play. They do an excellent job of production at STS Peter & Paul.

Be blessed and in so doing bless someone else :)

Romans 12:3

“Don’t cherish exaggerated ideas of yourself or your importance, but try to have a sane estimate of your capabilities by the light of faith that God has given to you.”

What a night...Chauncy (new puppy) slept with us or kept us without sleep depending on how you look at it :) She reminded me of all the nights my human babies slept in my bed.....OMGoddness what a night!

She is adorable that's how all babies get away with it!

Last night was GD Kollier's kindergarten graduation and I missed it...a first! DH had another DRS appointment in the afternoon @ST Ann's and then we picked up the puppy.

Be blessed and enjoy your day!

Galatians 6:14, “The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ is my only reason for bragging.”

It is all about Jesus!

Last night I drove to Wellston to watch the junior high school production of "Bandstand". My GS Kaeden was so adorable in his jeans, Tshirt and sunglasses (he looked so much like Jamey). The girls saved me a front row seat...adorable!

Today after another trip to ST Ann's for Timmy we are picking up our new addition to the family "Chauncy of Bruce". Hopefully Jordan (our fox terrier) shares our enthusiasm for our little bundle of joy :)

Be blessed

Thank you Father!

another jewel from Max Lucado

Humility is such an elusive virtue. Once you think you have it, you don’t, or you wouldn’t think you did. You’ve heard the story of the boy who received the “Most Humble Badge” and had it taken away because he wore it?

God hates arrogance–because we haven’t done anything to be arrogant about. Can you imagine a scalpel growing smug after a successful heart transplant?  Of course not. It’s only a tool, it gets no credit for the accomplishment.

The message of the 23rd Psalm is that we have nothing to be proud about either. We have rest, salvation, blessings,, and a home in heaven—and we did nothing to earn any of it! Who did?  Who did the work? The Psalmist says the Lord, our Shepherd, leads His sheep–not for our names’ sake but—for His name’s sake!
This is all done for God’s glory!

Hebrews 4:16 promises, “we will find grace to help us when we need it.”

Today I am going with my parents and Aunt Sandee to celebrate the 80th Birthday of their sister, my Aunt Ruth. Born at six months as a result of a car accident she is mentally disabled and her inability to communicate has always been her most vexing problem. How glorious it will be when I see her in heaven made whole and shouting to the rooftops the praises of my King!

Happy Birthday Aunt Ruthie!!

Blessings.

God leads us. God will do the right thing at the right time. What a difference that makes!

Stress reducer....follow His lead!

Well Sunday after a moment of weakness (maybe love) on my part I decided to get DH a puppy for our Anniversary! I found a couple on small family owned farms that had English Labs and yesterday away we went to see one. OMGoodness the babies will love this little one!!!

I fell in love with a little black female that nestled in my arms the whole time we were there. I think we will call her Chauncy (after my sons' dog many years ago) of Bruce (Tim's family surname). Quite a name for such a small bundle of joy.

Needless to say she is coming home on the 20th to become  our forever friend and Timmy's companion for his farm endeavors...or at least that is the plan :)

Life sometimes, no most times, surprises me!

Love seems to conquer my sanity.

Be blessed

Ephesians 2:8 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

Just Rest

“Come to Me,” He invites, “all of you who’re weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
