You are who God says you are. Spiritually alive; heavenly positioned…“seated with him in the heavenly realms” and “one with Jesus Christ.”

~Max Lucado

Awwwww...home sweet home! We are back from Colonial Williamsburg and ready to get back into the swing of this thing that we call life :)

The Trade Show was fun and with Denny {DH's only sibling and brother} coming and spending the night at the hotel made the stay extra special! We visited the Outlet Mall  and the Williamsburg Antique Mall on Friday before the show opening which was  a good thing? The three of us dined at the "King's Tavern" in Colonial Williamsburg on Saturday evening and it was superb.

It snowed in Virginia and West Virginia Sunday as we were leaving but thankfully we managed to miss any accumulation. It was definitely cold!

I am thankful for the trip and glad to be home!

Have a blessed day!

Christ approached us while we were yet sinners! “Will you cover us?” we asked him, and grace smiled. ~Max Lucado

It has been and will continue to be a crazy week. Another DRS appointment yesterday and one more @St Ann's with a cardio team. Relish your health! Enjoy your loved ones :)

Have a blessed day!

John 13:14-15 says, “Since I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. Do as I have done to you.”

What a full week with DRS visits for both of us and test to be done in Columbus! Yikes!!

But even better was the weekend! The grand babies from Wellston had an overnight with us and then the whole group came to the house on Sunday for baked spaghetti, cake and ice cream to celebrate Mom and Mikes' Birthdays.

I love my babies and grand babies...they are the best!

Thank you Jesus :)

Have a blessed day

Rest in His love :)

Hebrews 13:9 says, “Your hearts should be strengthened by God’s grace, not by obeying rules.”  In Matthew 11:28 Jesus promises, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”

Christ died for me....hard to comprehend but freedom is in His wings!

As long as the cross is God’s gift to the world, it will touch you but it will not change you. Precious as it is to proclaim, “Christ died for the world,” even sweeter it is to whisper, “Christ died for me!” For my sins he died. He took my place on the cross. He felt my shame and spoke my name. Thank God for the day Jesus took your place, for the day that grace happened to you!

Romans 3

We are incarcerated by our past. We have been found guilty! Our executioner’s footsteps echo against the stone walls. We sit on the floor of the dusty cell, awaiting our final moment. We don’t look up as he opens the door.  We know what he’s going to say. “Time to pay for your sins.”  But we hear something else!  “You’re free to go.  They took Jesus instead of you!”

The door swings open, the guard barks, “Get out!”  And we find ourselves shackles gone, crimes pardoned, wondering, what just happened?  Grace just happened!  Christ took away your sins.

Romans 3 says that God, in his gracious kindness, declares us not guilty. For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us.

What happened?  Grace happened!

Colossians 3:3 reminds us, “your life is hidden with Christ in God.”

There would be no hope without the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ.

Today is suppose to reach near 60 in the Ohio Valley and I plan on spending most of it out and about while it last!

Have a blessed day :)

Hebrews 10:22 urges “. . .let us come near to God with a sincere heart and a sure faith, because we have been made free from a guilty conscience.”

The cold has settled back into the Ohio Valley, at least for a day or two! I have been deep in graphic classes the last 2 days and enjoying them thoroughly...mastering something new gives me hope for this old brain of mine that it can still learn something!

It is too cold for the maple syrup so Timmy is getting a reprieve from the Quarry at least until the days are warmer....it needs cold nights and warm days to produce. A quiet week...and we so appreciate it!
Have a blessed day

Revelation 12:9-10 says, “For the Accuser has been thrown down to earth, the one who accused our brothers and sisters before God day and night.”

Our weapons are spiritual for pulling down strongholds always remembering who wins in this battle....JESUS!

The maple syrup production is on at the Quarry. Timmy boiled down about 24 gallons yesterday. The land was soggy and had its own scent that only wet soil and decaying leaves can produce. There is no smell quite like it. I ventured up to the falls to take pictures of the still frozen waterfall. While on the ridge I saw many deer track and the rustling of some of them around me as I walked. God's nature is something to behold!

Be blessed!

Colossians 1:27, “Christ is in you!”

Christ within is the hope of God's glory shining through man.

What a beautiful Birthday weekend with the Breakfast Club in the morning and dinner with the girls and families in the afternoon.

May the love of God surround you and yours this day and everyday!

Life is good here but oh how much better it will be in God's Kingdom!

Grace lives because Jesus does, works because he works, and matters because he matters. To be saved by grace is to be saved by Jesus—not by an idea, doctrine, creed, or church membership, but by Jesus himself, who will sweep into heaven anyone who so much as gives him the nod.
~Max Lucado

I had a wonderful, beautiful Birthday yesterday. Many good wishes and prayers from friends and family...what more could you desire? Last night at our Church Connect Group meeting Bobbi and Randy brought me a cake, Jo Ann topped it with a candle and they all sang me Happy Birthday....I even received a Money Tree plant....I am blessed!

Today I am going out with my parents and brother for a Birthday dinner and tomorrow we will celebrate with the girls and family at Kristyl's after my breakfast with the "Breakfast Club"

I may gain a few ? extra pounds this week :)

Have a blessed day!

Can’t forgive your past? Christ can, and he is on the move, aggressively budging you from graceless to grace-shaped living. Forgiven people forgiving people. Deep sighs of relief. Grace is everything Jesus!

~Max Lucado

Ezekiel 36:26 says, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you!”

God makes all things new daily.

It is still frigid in the Ohio Valley

I will be thankful for a warm home

Be blessed :)
