 My capabilities are always questioned with the onset of the tax season :( 

Ephesians 2:10 says: “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Today I am going to work on taxes....

Every year I do ours, my daughters and my parents. Just like every other person, I hate doing taxes, but I am so thankful for the life I have and willingly pay them :)

I just wish it could be simpler!!

A busy weekend :)

Saturday afternoon I called my parents to see if they wanted to play a game of Hand and Foot...that was at 2:30.......@ 4:30 my daughter Ashley called to see if we wanted to play cards....6 hours later we finished playing Hand and Foot.....fun, fun, fun!!

Sunday night I spent the night @ my daughter Marla's to help out my sick little girl.....I missed our bowling BUT Tim and our partner Shirley managed to win 2 games of the 4...they bowled against my Dad no less and they also had a person missing on the team....I came home about 7:30 Monday night..the babies are sooooo precious! This morning I have sore shoulders and back....could it be from holding Carrig above my head just to hear him giggle?

I love my life :)

Someday we will see God in all His glory!

Now it is ice.....another day of studio time!!

The Columbus babies are out of school today because of the weather and the Wellston group is on a 2 hour delay...what a winter!

Harmony

It is cold, like bone chilling, here in the Ohio Valley. The snow is swirling outside and I am warmly wrapped in the robe that my daughter, Ashley, got me for Christmas. It is a good day to work in the studio :)

My Bible Study this morning spoke of the harmony of the Gospels and the desire for harmony that God has placed in our life...it is time for the peace of God to rule in my heart while He works out the details!

Happy Valentine's Day

Well the men won both games last night...yippee...they were due :)

Tonight we are going with my parents' out to eat for Valentine's Day to the only restaurant that my hubby likes...Castaways....Lancaster's hidden gem!

There is once again snow on the ground, it is so beautiful, but none of it stuck to the roads :)

Enjoy this precious day and do it with great love :)

Cards :)

We are going to my parents to play cards this afternoon.....Timmy is finally feeling a whole lot better!! Playing cards is not our favorite thing to do.....but contributing to my parents happiness is!

These were written on Max Lucado's blog this morning...they were fitting on the lessons of my Bible Study today and in my life right now....I have hurt many and I have been hurt by many but I ask forgiveness from them and I forgive them....I love them...and it is time to move on :)

Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.”

We had a nice quiet Birthday Party for Kamden Saturday....sooooo unusual...it was the calm before the storm....Kami was having 8 friends over after we left for a Slumber Party!!! I wish that Mom and Dad opted to come but I understand they don't like the long drive there :(

Children (and grandchildren) are the blessing of God!

We had a grand time at the Moloney's....the boys (even baby Carrig) are soooo boy and it reminds me of Crumley Rd when our house was filled with my son and his friends!! Caitie is sooooo girl and we have the best of times talking, playing hangman, talking, reading, making art, talking...you get the picture!! Marla is the best mommy...patient and kind and I am always thankful for the care she gives her little family!!

Change me Lord...change me into the image of Your Son

A typical day!

Last night I called Kami to let her know that I had received her newest letter to Nana, a coloring page of her favorite subjects, animals....How stinkin cute is she!!

 Her Birthday party is Saturday and she wants art supplies...now that is right up my alley.

I talked to Kollier and she is uber excited that she is spending the night at her little friends Katie's house (first sleepover at a friends) while Kami has her first ever Birthday slumber party....9 little 6 and 7 year olds....I totally remember those slumber parties....Good luck Kris and JP :)



Timmy is feeling a better after a breathing treatment at the DR's. She ordered a chest xray which came back clear he just gets over things slowly :(

I am off to Marla's today to spend the night....Mike is on call!

Our God is a God of abounding new chances to get it right and to be made anew.....He does not let go of those who are His without letting us have every opportunity to return! His biggest desire for man is to be reborn and reformed into the image of His Son.

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Christ in us...the hope of glory! What would Jesus do?

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26).

God loves us too much to leave us as He found us...He changes us one step at a time into having the character of His Son!
