Wow with the new baby, the trade show in Lexington KY, my weeklong seminar and the upcoming trip to Fort Wayne and the auction......it hasn't left a lot of breathing room!
Yesterday we started bowling in the Senior's League with Mom and Dad. I didn't do too bad for not having bowled since spring!
Tonight I am staying at the Moloney's, a welcome relief, to a hectic month...maybe a trip to the corner ice cream store is in order!
Hard to believe but fall is right around the corner :) and we are planning a spooky fall dinner at the Quarry. We should have a very ghoulish good time **on the lantern lit trails through the primeval forest..

Jesus honors you :)
You are valuable just because you exist!
Remember that the next time some trickster tries to hang a bargain basement price tag on your self-worth.
Just think about the way Jesus honors you—and smile! I do. I smile because I know I don’t deserve a love like that. None of us do.
When you get right down to it, any contribution any of us makes is pretty puny. All of us, even the purest of us, deserve heaven about as much as that crook on the cross did.
It makes me smile to think there’s a grinning thief walking the golden streets of heaven who knows more about grace than a thousand theologians.
No one else would have given the thief on the cross a prayer. But in the end that is all he had. And in the end, that is all it took!
No wonder they call Jesus the Savior.

We are valuable :)
Value is now measured by two criteria: appearance and performance. Where does that leave the ugly or uneducated? What hope does that offer the unborn child? The aged? The handicapped? Not much at all. We become nameless numbers on mislaid lists.
This is man’s value system. But it is not God’s. His plan is much brighter. In God’s book man is heading somewhere. He has an amazing destiny.
We’re being prepared to walk down the church aisle and become the bride of Jesus. We’re going to live with him. Share the throne with him.
We count. We’re valuable.
We count. We’re valuable.
Jesus’ love does not depend on what we do for him. If there was anything that Jesus wanted everyone to understand it was this: A person is worth something simply because he is a person. That’s why Jesus treated people the way he did.
You have value simply because you are!
You are His.

The Bible says, “everyone who believes can have eternal life.”
Can I give you the down and dirty about legalism? Legalism doesn’t need God!
Legalism is a systematic process of defending self, explaining self, exalting self, and justifying self. Legalists are obsessed with self—not God. Legalism turns my opinion into your burden. There’s only room for one opinion—and guess who’s wrong!
Spiritual life is not a human endeavor. It’s rooted in and orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. Every spiritual achievement is created and energized by God.
The Bible says, “everyone who believes can have eternal life.”
Not “everyone who achieves.”
Not “everyone who succeeds.”
Not “everyone who agrees.”
But “everyone who believes.”
Salvation is God’s business. Grace is His idea, His work, and His expense. He offers it to whom He desires, when He desires.
Our job in the process is to inform the people, not to screen the people!

Romans 12:12, Paul said: “always be prayerful. And in Ephesians 6:18, to “pray at all times and on every occasion.”
Tim is going to Lexington to sell his wares....powder horns! All good gifts come from the Father and he has certainly been blessed with his talents :)

Romans 12:18 instructs: “As you do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible.”
then we will be able to have the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding in situations beyond our control.

Christ within the hope of glory!
The Bible tells us God will wipe away all tears, there will be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying, no more pain.
All of that gone forever. Write checks of hope on this promise! With Paul in Romans 8:23, we “wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children.”

Happy Birthday Marla Nici Col Col!
We love you bunches!
Today the babies will spend the night with us so that Mommy can go to a Drs' appointment and get some rest? How is that possible with a newborn?
Tomorrow we will have a dinner party for her 40th......this can't be possible, can it?

Childhood Memories
Yesterday's visit with the Kansas Wildermuth cousins made we wish that we could turn back to the time when everyone lived closer!
I miss my Mom's side of the family....

Today I am having dinner with a cousin and his wife that I have not seen in over 20 years....yikes!
In our childhood we were very close to his Mom and to his siblings...I miss them and wonder often how they are and what they are doing. In the last month with his mother moving back to Ohio we have seen Aunt Naomi twice and his brother Chris and now Don and Debbie....it has been a very good month :)
The Wildermuth side is a family of debaters and strong opinions and I fit right in. I know where my roots are when I am with them!

Revelation 2:10 says, “Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
My first born will turn 40 on the 10th of August.......how did this happen?
She is a caring, thoughtful daughter and friend, a wonderful mother to 4 children and an amazing wife....add to this that she has is an allergist and pediatrician with a practice to manage and you have....Wonder Woman!
We are having one of our family dinners here on Saturday to celebrate! God bless and protect her all the days of her life :)

Psalm 27:3 says, “My heart shall not fear—though war arise against me, yes, I will be confident!”
God will never leave you nor forsake you.......be confident in His love!
Saturday we went to visit the newest member of our family...Carrig! There is something so miraculous about gazing on the innocence of a newborn. I love my babies :) I think that Caitie and Ciarnan (5 and 7) have found a way to see the words on iPad Hangman......they are beating me every time!
We had the nicest rains on and off all day Sunday. Overnight the green is returning to our lawn and there is a delicious earthy smell permeating the outside that had been missing for most of the summer!
Tim will go to the Quarry today to burn some of the fallen timbers from the cleanup of prior storms and I will most likely join him at some point :) It is finally wet enough to burn!
My brother and family are going to the Amish Country today but I opted not to go...it would mean driving an extra car for just me and @3.89 a gallon I just couldn't justify it. They will have a beautiful 84 degree day to enjoy it.
I had the funniest conversation with Kollier (5) last night...my daughter called to tell me that Kollier wanted me to call her, I think to tell me that she had gone to her first overnight with a friend, Natalie. I called and proceeded to talk about everything that is in her little life...the dogs, the cats, the weather, her friend... on and on....finally she said "do you want to talk to Kaeden? this is a long phone call.....I about rolled on the floor laughing....kids are so darn truthful :)
Take time to kiss your babies!

2nd Corinthians 4:17: “These little troubles are getting us ready for an eternal glory that will make all our troubles seem like nothing.”
Yesterday Tim (I supervised) cut down and tossed the remains of a limb of a tree that had been severed in the last storm at Ashley's house. What we had thought would be quite a task was in actuality minor to what it could have been.
Life is like that sometimes.....whatever we come across and conquer makes us stronger in the lesson learned :)

As God said through Hosea, “When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud; then they forgot me.” (Hosea 13:6)
How can a person survive prosperity? Scripture says, do not be haughty! Don’t think for a moment that you had anything to do with your accumulation.

Trust God—not stuff!
God owns it all. God shares it all. 1st Timothy 6:17 says we’re not to trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God. Trust God_not stuff!
