“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.“ (John 7:37-38).

How refreshing is a cup of water on a day like today...105 with the heat index...yikes! I felt like I was giving life to my plants when I watered this morning...and they are just plants. How much more does God give living water to those who thirst for Him.

John 7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Matthew 10:42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

Sharing even a cup of water with someone in need is never forgotten by the Father..how comforting!

He loves us so :)

I John 4:17 says, “Perfect love expels all fear.”

It is going to be in the high 90's (low 100's) in the Ohio Valley today....I watered all the yard plants early this morning. We haven't had any appreciable rain in a long time. I have restricted Timmy from the quarry it is just too hot and he is too old to be out in the heat....but  he will do what he wants anyway :(

I am praying for the people in the Colorado fires and in Florida with the rain....we have had the craziest weather in the last decade. They weigh heavily on my heart.

I felt led to pray for all the members of my family..all of them...the Huber's (Koch's) and the Wildermuth's (Danison's) and everyone stemming from them. Maybe it was prompted by the death of Mom's cousin Paul yesterday. His son, Paul, owns the kennel that boards Jordan when we travel and his daughter Melanie bowls in the senior league with us. Paul senior was a retired firefighter and served in WW2 where he met his wife, Josephine who was serving in the British military. Our lives are so woven together in ways that we never take the time to think about....our genetic traits span many generations and we are blessed (or cursed) by them :)

Have a blessed day!

“I will trust in him and not be afraid!” (Isaiah 12:2)

God is using your struggles to toughen you up!

It’s like viewing a movie after you’ve read the book.  When something bad happens, everyone else gasps at the crisis on the screen.  Not you.  Why?  You’ve read the book.  You know how the good guy gets out of the tight spot.

God views your life with the same confidence.  He’s not only read your story, he wrote it.  His perspective is different, and his purpose is clear.  One of God’s cures for weak faith?  A good, healthy struggle.

Consider it a gift when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.  Under pressure, your faith-life is forced into open and shows its true colors.  Scripture says, let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. (James 1:2-3)

Join with the Old Testament prophet Isaiah who resolved, “I will trust in him and not be afraid!”  (Isaiah 12:2)

You have such a way with words Max!

Psalm 91:1-2

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”  The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.  I will protect those who trust in my name!”

Philippians 4:7 says “His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

What a weekend...

Our internet/digital phone has been having major hiccups for the last 2 weeks...Time Warner fixed it Saturday afternoon...thank goodness since I don't even know my cell phone number since I switched to pay as you go!! That night we played cards with Mom and Dad  and the GIRLS won (OK girls is a stretch but I'm just saying)....woo hoo!

Sunday after church our car would not go into gear...we were stuck at the Landmark store...thank you Ashley for picking us up and for Chuck going to fix the crazy thing!  It is soooo nice to have a mechanic in the family :)

We get by with a little help from our friends

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10″

Wednesday night and Thursday the Fulton Babies (not so little any more :() ) were here...what fun! We painted, we gardened, we drew, we watched movies, we drove the jeep (Nana pushed the jeep up the hills) we played iPad games (a lot), we made a flower arrangement, we went to the Quarry and walked the trails, we ate junk food and we cuddled (a lot) and I am officially exhausted!! I love my babies :)

You can do all things through Christ, who gives you strength. (Philippians 4:13)

God's love for us is nothing like mans' limited love.......God's love is agape, unconditional to all who seek to find Him and know Him!

Colossians 3:2 says, “Let heaven fill your thoughts!”

Last night we had Dad and Mom over for a "Father's Day" meal.....accompanied by? cards of course. The men won....seems fitting for their day don't you think?

It amazes me how we look at life as either half empty or half full... it is a HUGE difference in perception.....I choose life and that abundantly for all of us not just a few.

We need to make the  time to concentrate on the beauty and majesty of the world God gave us.......most of the world has learned to do this with little money but a whole lot of God's agape love :) they seem to be a happier group!

Psalm 139:16

“You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book.  Every moment laid out before a single day had passed.”

The girls great uncle, Don Bowman, passed away yesterday he was a kind, loving man who loved God and you knew it! He will be missed by his wife Betty and his children Dana, Jill and Mark and so many others!

God gives eternal life to those who believe!

I went to pay my respects to the Reincheld/Kemmerer family Sunday after church.  It has been about 20 years since my divorce but we are still family and it it is always good to see them.  Timmy went with me and I am sooo thankful for this man that I am convinced God placed in my life after Jamey's passing to give me hope where there seemed to be none. When we were leaving Jan said that Rita could tell Jamey hello....my sentiments exactly!

Friday, June 8, 2012

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21.”

My children's aunt Rita (Riencheld) passed away unexpectedly yesterday she is were she wants to be but she will be missed by those left behind. She can say hello to Jamey!!

Jesus said, “…he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35

Receive Christ’s work on the cross, the energy of His Spirit.  His unending, unfailing love.

Drink deeply–and drink often!

Another day in the life....

Ciarnan and Cael spent the night last Monday and the 20th Kaeden, Kami and Kollier are staying with us. Timmy is a good Pooh Bear. Kaeden is trying to earn money for summer camp and Tim and I are going to let him help out at the Quarry to earn some cash :) while Kristyl and JP are attending archery camp for a school program that Kris initiated for Sts Peter and Paul.

Caitie needs a Catie/Nana sleepover as soon as she gets out of school for the summer :)

Yesterday's power washing at Daddy's was a huge success...we get by with a little help from our friends!

Have a blessed day!

“I am God–I alone. I am God. There is no one else like me! Isaiah 46:4-9″

Saturday evening we took Mom and Dad to the Silver Anniversary of mutual friends of ours. There were people there from  my childhood....enduring friendships are a gift!

Today I am going to take our power washer up to Daddy's and we are going to clean his siding....this ought to be fun :) He takes good care of his possessions and never takes them for granted...they also are a gift :)

The Father is good to those who love Him!!

"You are imperfect, permanently and inevitably flawed. And you are beautiful." ~Amy Bloom

Spring Plays....too cute for words!

"Goldi And The Bears"....Kamden as Goldie
and Kollier as Flower

"Bugz"....Kaeden as an Army Ant

June? Where the heck did May go?

Wow, time has a way of disappearing when you are busy in the process of living it!

I am so thankful for the life that I live.....it is filled with the peace of knowing I am loved and cared for! What a difference one person can make in a life for better or for worse. I am thankful for God's watch over me and my family and the people that He places in it :)

Today it is overcast and drizzly.....a perfect day to get caught up on "Project Life" while the memories are still fresh in my mind (old age sets in fast you know).

Tim is over at the Quarry burning brush and I am alone in the stillness....cool huh?

Have a wonderful day!
